World Chocolate Day, also known as Chocolate Day, is an annual event celebrating chocolate. It takes place globally on July 7 and is believed by some to mark the anniversary of chocolate's introduction to Europe in 1550. The observance of World Chocolate Day began in 2009.

Visit their new tour center to learn about our 100+ year old history!Taste locally made chocolate during a tour and the Rebecca Ruth Chocolate Shop in Frankfort, Kentucky. Visit this production facility and museum in historic downtown Frankfort for a small-group tour including the chance to sample the original Bourbon Ball chocolate. Learn about the history of this family-run business, the story of Ruth Booe, and learn how she and her family have overcome difficulty and tragedy.
Come and experience the energy of the past and learn lessons that have transcended nearly a century.
Tours include a free chocolate sample!
Production normally is in operation Mon - Thurs.
Production is NOT scheduled for tours on Fri or Sat.
Tours are Monday - Saturday. (No tours Sunday)
Tours are roughly 30 minutes long. Tours start sharply at their designated times!
If you are unsure about booking online, you are welcome to join a tour as a walk-in!
Note: You are only able to book 12 hours or more in advance. For same day tours, please visit us as a walk-in!
